Oftenly is a booking, communications, and operations platform operated by Accelara AI Solutions Limited, a company registered in the Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("Accelara", "we", "us", or "our"). This policy explains how we handle information when you visit oftenly.io, request a demonstration, use an Oftenly-powered service, or connect business messaging accounts to the platform.
Our role
For information submitted directly to Oftenly, such as demonstration requests, account administration, security logs, and billing details, Accelara generally acts as the data controller. When a home-service business uses Oftenly to manage its customers, that business controls its customer data and Accelara processes the data on its behalf.
Information we collect
- Contact and account information, including names, business email addresses, telephone numbers, roles, and authentication records.
- Business configuration, service menus, prices, staff information, availability, operating rules, and connected-account identifiers.
- Customer booking, conversation, payment-status, service-location, consent, and support information processed for Oftenly customers.
- WhatsApp Business Platform data that a business authorizes us to access, including business account and phone-number identifiers, message templates, message content, delivery events, and account status information.
- Technical and security information such as IP address, device and browser details, cookies, audit events, and diagnostic logs.
How we use information
- Provide, secure, support, and improve the Oftenly platform.
- Create bookings, operate customer communications, and deliver transactional messages authorized by an Oftenly customer.
- Connect and manage WhatsApp Business accounts, message templates, webhooks, and related platform functionality at the business account owner's direction.
- Authenticate users, prevent abuse, investigate incidents, and comply with legal obligations.
- Respond to enquiries and provide product, onboarding, and support communications.
Legal bases
Where a legal basis is required, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the platform, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where requested. A business using Oftenly is responsible for obtaining any customer consent required for its messaging and service workflows.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We disclose information only as needed to operate Oftenly, including to hosting, database, security, analytics, artificial intelligence, email, messaging, maps, and payment providers; to the Oftenly customer responsible for the relevant account; to professional advisers; or when required by law. Meta and WhatsApp process information under their own terms and policies when a business connects WhatsApp Business Platform assets.
Government and public-authority requests
Accelara requires a documented legal review before disclosing personal information in response to a government or public-authority request. We verify the requesting authority, jurisdiction, legal basis, and scope; challenge requests that we reasonably consider unlawful, invalid, or overbroad where permitted; and disclose only the minimum information legally required. We document the request, the people involved in the review, our response, and the supporting legal reasoning. Where legally permitted, we seek to narrow requests and notify the affected customer or user.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet contractual and legal requirements, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. We use access controls, encryption in transit, managed infrastructure, tenant separation, audit logging, and other reasonable safeguards. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Information may be processed outside the country where it was collected. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international transfers.
Your rights and deletion
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, object to processing of, or delete your personal information. Instructions for requesting deletion of Oftenly or Meta platform data are available at oftenly.io/data-deletion. We may verify your identity and retain information where required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention, or legal claims.
Children
Oftenly is a business platform and is not directed to children under 16. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so that we can review and remove it where appropriate.
